Chinese New Year in Hainan as AImagined

Hainan Island is the second largest island in China. It has beautiful scenery, rare animals, interesting history, and all sorts of intangible cultural heritage items. The Chinese New Year is just around the corner, as part of welcoming the New Year, the Hainan International Media Center (HIMC) has taken artificial intelligence technology to produce some short films giving an idea of what Hainan’s Spring Festival is like according to large data models.

Entering Tianya Haijiao (the End of the Earth), strolling through historic downtown Haikou, watching dragon and lion dances, weaving bamboo, and eating sweets … what do these uniquely Hainanese scenes and cultural treasures look like from the perspective of large data models? Through this novel perspective, get a different look at beautiful Hainan.
